Needed to check services like SMTP (or even Minecraft servers).

Currently planned:

  • SMTP
  • HTTP services behind basic auth
  • HTTP services with expected content

How to implement: Add a new key to the config.json called "protocol-options": for supplying e.g. basic auth credentials.
Maybe rename the "url": key to "uri":
